We have a small team working on this at present, but if you are keen to get involved, please reach out.

We have been beneficiaries of the Brighton scene for a long time without giving much back: going to gigs, playing gigs, jamming, going to open-mics, festivals and more.

We think this might give artists an opportunity when they otherwise might be overlooked.

• We critically review Brighton bands and singers and post these on social media.

• We interview Brighton bands and singers

• We make playlists grouping Brighton bands

• We list gigs and events happening in Brighton

What we do not do:

• Write puff pieces for money

• Ask for money for any services

If you want us to write about your music, then send an email to watchman@the-watchtower.co.uk with a link to the song. It would be great to have the full names of all the artists in the recording or a link to that information, and also a list of the instruments played. 

It sometimes helps to tell us who your influences are and a bit about your work.

We also conduct interviews. There are three forms of interviews

1. Written up Q+As, conducted in person, on the phone or by email

2. Home-filmed responses to questions

3. Sit down interviews that are filmed in their entirety

This is not a business, but a not-for-profit organisation. We do this in our spare time. If you would like to contribute then that’s fantastic, but you definitely do not have to, just enjoy our services!
